Mainstream digital photography has been
available to both the consumer and professional market since 1997. That is
when Renat decided to completely make the switch from conventional - film
photography to digital. Although back then the cameras had a mere 1.5
million pixels of resolution, they were already suitable for many digital
art creation applications. Renat's first digital camera was the famous NIKON
Coolpix 900. He retired it in the summer of 2001, when he upgraded to the
next generation of this class camera - NIKON Coolpix 995, which has 3.4
million pixels of resolution and many many advanced features designed to
accommodate many photography enthusiasts' needs. Nowadays Renat carries a
KYOCERA Finecam SL300R everywhere he goes. This camera is very
portable offering 3 mega pixel resolution in a cigarette pack size.
