Born on October 18, 1976 in Baku, Azerbaijan (formerly one of the fifteen republics of former USSR). 

Renat began painting at the age of five, he attended the Yuri Gagarin School of Fine Arts in Baku before immigrating to the United States in 1994. 

Renat paints with oil onto canvas to materialize his imaginative ideas that he composes in his mind.

In the fall of 2003 Renat began expressing his ideas through motion pictures as well. As of May 2004 there are over six films created by Renat. Some of them include:
"Becoming a Human" Part I and II
"Plastic People"
"The Truth Is"
"Money or Friends"
On average his films require the crew of just one or two people. The actors are usually chosen upon location where filming is done.

Renat has been recording numerous conversations with the people of the World in audio/video formats that have not been released to the public yet due to the lack of available time to publish these works to a medium like CD, DVD or the Web. With time they will become available to humanity.

Currently Renat lives and works in the New York City, USA, however he sometimes spontaneously takes trips around the World to explore the peoples of various countries.

In the Summer of 2002 Renat founded Innomind.org - a non-profit web site which focuses on improving the quality of human life by sharing ideas about self-discovery through art and innovation.
